Elkins Lake Baptist Church

Being God’s people in this time and place.

Welcome to Elkins Lake Baptist Church’s web home!
We’re glad you found us and hope you’ll give us a chance to meet you in person.  ELBC is a unique group of people trying to be followers of Jesus Christ.  Our spiritual heritage is Baptist and we cooperate with many Baptist ministries and missions, but our members come from a variety of Christian backgrounds.  We simply all agree to let God’s word in Jesus and Scripture be the guide for our lives.

How can I be involved?

Our Worship is the time and place where we speak and sing our love and thanks to God. It is am important time when we listen for God’s word to us. And it is where we come together with our Christian family to remember that we are not alone in our faith in God.

At ELBC, we express our worship in many forms: music, both contemporary and traditional; videos; drama; personal stories; scripture reading; biblical messages.

Our worship together points us to God’s grace, God’s word, and God’s people. Join us in person or on KSAM 101.7!

ELBC is a place where you can worship God!

Jesus sent his followers to do just what the Father sent him to do: tell and show that God is working for good in this broken world.
Christian ministry involves telling others the Good News of God’s forgiveness, truth, and love in Jesus Christ – and meeting the needs of others in Jesus’ name.
At ELBC, you’ll find many ways you can share your abilities and interests to meet the practical needs of people here in Huntsville and around the world. But also, in our church, there are so many ways you can minister here through teaching, repairing, singing, child care, greeting – we need every member serving in some way.
At ELBC, there is a place for you to serve in ministry!

We understand that we cannot “save the world” by ourselves! So we cooperate with other Christians to “do more together than any one of us could do alone.” We share financially with many Christian ministries locally and worldwide.
However, we not only give to those doing missions – we do missions ourselves! Our people are committed to an annual family trip involving children’s Bible and music schools, construction, sports camps, sewing, and computer training in Lasara, Texas.
Our people have also traveled internationally to support ministries in Angola, Germany, Great Britain, India, Kosovo, Russia, the Mideast, Southeast Asia – all over the globe!
At ELBC, you can be part of sharing the Good News around the world!
